2 indicted on alleged drug distributing, gun charges following September arrest

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Two people were recently indicted in Amarillo Federal Court on alleged drug possession and distribution charges, following an incident in September.

According to the indictment, Myron Glover Jr. and Alexis Ann Erickson were both indicted on Sept. 26 on six charges, including:

  • “Conspiracy to Distribute and Possess with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances”;
  • “Possession with Intent to Distribute 400 grams or more of Fentanyl”;
  • “Possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of Methamphetamine”;
  • “Possession with intent to Distribute Cocaine”;
  • “Possession of Firearms in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime”; and
  • “Convicted Felon in Possession of Firearms.”

As previously reported by MyHighPlains.com, Glover was allegedly distributing large amounts of fentanyl in Amarillo. Glover was arrested on Sept. 4 after a chase with law enforcement and a search of a home and car.

In the previous report, it was also noted that Glover allegedly had approximately one pound of methamphetamine in his clothing and approximately two pounds of marijuana in Glover’s vehicle. Officers were able to obtain a search warrant and while searching the home, officers allegedly found 13 pounds of methamphetamine, approximately 16,000 fentanyl pills, 19 pounds of marijuana, 7 firearms, and nearly $11,000 in cash.
