Children at Lindsey House in Tulsa in need of Halloween costumes

TULSA, Okla. — Lindsey House in Tulsa is seeking new or gently used children’s Halloween costumes for the families in their program.

Lindsey House primarily serves women with children who are facing situational homelessness.

They have about 40 kids at Lindsey House who are excited for the Halloween festivities this year, but need a costume.

FOX23 spoke with Amanda Montonati, Director of Development and Communications at Lindsey House, on Friday.

She said big focus of the curriculum at Lindsey House is helping moms learn how to save money, budget, identify wants versus needs and help them get back on track financially.

They launched the Halloween costumes drive to help out the moms so they won’t have to budget that this month.

“So when things like Halloween pop up, Christmas, birthdays, we just really try to take as much of a burden off of our moms as possible, who are working really hard every day saving money and paying off their debts,” Montonati.

There are just under 40 kids at Lindsey House who are in need of Halloween costumes.
