Beef and Bean Nacho Recipe: Easy and Delicious!

I love making homemade nachos for my family. It is such a simple meal to make that I was not even going to share the recipe. Then I thought, why not? You will need the following ingredients:

Recipe:

1 pound of ground beef

15 -16 oz can of pinto beans ( I used homecanned)

1 pack of taco seasoning

1 bag of corn tortilla chips

1/2 diced onion

1/4 cup of diced onion (for topping)

8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded

salt and pepper to taste

Toppings: guacamole (my recipe linked below), sour cream, pico de gallo, salsa, diced tomatoes

Preheat a large skillet to medium high heat and add the ground beef, onions, salt and pepper and cook until the ground beef is cooked through. Drain

Place the ground beef back in the skillet and add in the taco seasoning and 1/2 cup of water and cook for 3 minutes.

Add the pinto beans to the skillet and heat them through. Tip: You can also use black beans if you prefer those.

On a large platter, or individual plates and a layer of corn tortilla chips then add the meat and bean mixture and add the cheese.
