Rockford bounces back with OK Red win over Caledonia in Game of the Week

Rockford bounces back with an OK Red win over Caledonia in our Blitz Game of the Week 34-14.

The Rams got on the board first, Isaac Poot spun past defenders for a 90-yard touchdown. Caledonia got to the red zone on its first three possessions but came up with no points. Luke Ahern returned a blocked field goal and set up the Rams with great field position. Poot scored his second touchdown of the night as Rockford got up 13-0.

The Scots forced three turnovers in the first half. The third one sparked Cal’s offense. A few plays later Brody Betser found Lincoln Senti for the 12-yard touchdown. Rockford was on top at half 13-7.

In the second half, Poot scored his third touchdown of the game as the Rams extended their lead. Then the Rams special teams made another big play, Wyatt Colson blocked a punt and the Rams fell on it for a touchdown.

Rockford rolled from there. The Rams win it 34-14.
