Saturday, October 5th Forecast: Slow transition back to fall

The last couple of days have been anything but fall-like. 90-degree temperatures in October aren’t normal. Yesterday we came one degree short of a record. We will be chasing highs again today.

Everyone will be experiencing the summer sizzle as temperatures will continue to be toasty. Clouds will be a rare sight today with winds coming from the south.

Improvements from the heat arrive Sunday as a cold front will sweep some of this summer heat out. It will still be warm by October standards for Sunday as highs will be in the mid-80s.

The full-on fall-feel returns Monday. Highs will be getting back to normal fall levels peaking only in the mid-70s. Tuesday stays cool. We start a warmup on Wednesday bringing the taste of summer back.

If you are hoping to see rain this week, well keep dreaming. The pattern will stay very dry making our rain chances zero to none.
