HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A father and son were arrested after being suspected of burglarizing an Evansville business.
Police say they were called on the scene in reference to a burglary by a security company who saw the suspects, Phillip and Cameron Gibson, entering the gated lot.
Authorities say they detained Cameron after he was found walking away from the lot and Phillip surrendered himself to the officers during a lot search.
Phillip says he and his son entered the lot by “crawling underneath” the locked gate. He adds they were not able to steal anything as officers arrived before they could do so and this was the first time they had broken into this specific gated lot.
Phillip and Cameron have been booked in the Vanderburgh County Confinement Center and charged with Burglary.
