Slow-Mo Video of Grayson McCall’s Injury Leaves College Fans Worried

To start off Saturday’s slate of Week 6 games, two ACC rivals went head-to-head as the Wake Forest Demon Deacons made the short trip to Raleigh to face the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

Before the season began, the Wolfpack had high hopes going in, landing at the No. 22 spot in the preseason top-25. A big reason for such lofty expectations was the addition of former Coastal Carolina quarterback Grayson McCall. However, NC State has been unable to hang with the two ranked opponents they have faced (Tennessee and Clemson), falling to 3-2 on the season.

They may have taken a big hit to start the game against the Deacs, as McCall went down after taking a scary shot to the head from three different defenders simultaneously on a third-down run that saw his helmet come flying off. The play resulted in a fumble that Wake took all the way to the NC State two-yard line.
