BUFFALO, N.Y. – A Weather Impact Alert Day has been issued for Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Western New York, especially the Southtowns and the Southern Tier. The Storm Prediction Center has issued an alert indicating a slight risk for Severe Weather, especially for the southwest portion of Western New York, including Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, southern Erie, and portions of Wyoming and Allegany counties, and a marginal risk for the rest of Western New York.
