Oklahoma Transportation Commission set to host monthly meeting on Monday

OKLAHOMA CITY (KAMR/KCIT) — The Oklahoma Transportation Commission’s monthly meeting is scheduled at 11 a.m. on Monday.

The meeting will be at the R.A. Ward Transportation Building located at 200 N.E 21 Street in Oklahoma City.

Topics to be discussed at the meeting:

  • Commissioners will consider and vote on the newest edition of the Eight-Year Construction Work Plan for the 2025-2032 fiscal years. The plan contains nearly $9 billion in highway improvements statewide. The $500 million Asset Preservation Plan addressing highway system maintenance will also be presented.
  • Oklahoma Department of Transportation Director Tim Gatz will update commissioners on the status of the federal appropriations bill.
  • The commission will vote on whether to award several contracts, including a $252 million contract to construct the I-44 and U.S. Highway 77 interchange in Tulsa and a bridge rehabilitation project along I-40 over I-44 in Oklahoma City.
