Family Promise plans $6.8 million family emergency shelter in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Family Promise is working on a $6.8 million plan to build its second family-focused emergency homeless shelter in the City of Buffalo. The nonprofit this week entered into a designated development agreement with the city that would allow Family Promise to buy seven vacant city-owned lots on the corner of East Ferry and Welker streets.
