‘We won’t let you down’: Holland Town Center has a new owner with big plans

HOLLAND — Another owner has taken the reigns at Holland Town Center, and with a new face comes a new plan for a facelift.

Brait Capital buys and owns commercial real estate across the Midwest. The company took over ownership of Holland Town Center in September. As they’ve done with other properties, Brait plans to give the center a complete update, inside and out.

“We specialize in adding value to shopping centers, malls or industrial assets in markets like Holland,” said Rafik Moore, principal owner of Brait Capital. “Our whole purpose in working with these assets is to elevate and improve every property that we touch and elevate every tenant we collaborate with.”

The 120,390-square-foot center was listed at $5,417,550 by Edwards Realty Co. — which had similar big plans for the center when it purchased the development from SugarOak Properties in 2017 for $3.6 million.
