This PA-Based Company Is Closing Its Doors – and 193 Workers Will Be Laid Off

According to a new report by WTAJ, a pork processing company in PA is closing its doors – and 193 workers will be laid off. According to the report, Kunzler will be closing its doors for good very soon.

Clemens Food Group, which purchased the company in May, announced on Friday, October 4. Clemens released a statement saying, “Their (workers) dedication and hard work have been invaluable to the company’s history. We are committed to supporting these team members during this transition”.

Although the plant is closing on December 7, Clemens is hopeful that someone will step in and buy the company.
