UPPER MACUNGIE TWP. – A 66-year-old man died Saturday night in a one-car crash on Tilghman Street in the township, the Lehigh County coroner said. Stephen R. La Pierre, 66, of Upper Macungie Township, was thrown from the vehicle after it veered off the road and rolled down an embankment in a wooded area east of Werley Road, Coroner Daniel Buglio said.
