120 Rodent Droppings Found: Florida Cold Stone Creamery Closed

Ice cream is one of those simple pleasures that’s even better in Florida’s hot climate. From Baskin Robbins to Dairy Queen, Floridians have no shortage of spots to grab a sweet treat. About Cold Stone Creamery

Cold Stone Creamery has been serving up ice cream for nearly 30 years, and they’re known for more than just their frozen treats. Aside from ice cream, the chain also offers cakes, smoothies, and shakes, all made with their signature process of mixing toppings on a frozen granite stone.

The Valrico location, at 3426 Lithia Pinecrest Road, has a solid reputation with over 1,100 reviews and an impressive 4.8-star rating on Google. But despite the glowing reviews, the state inspection painted a different picture.

Some of the basic violations included rusted shelving, a non-functioning light, and food debris found on shelving in the walk-in cooler.
