Denver weather: More sunshine and above-normal temperatures for the workweek

DENVER ( KDVR ) — More dry days with above-normal temperatures are in Denver’s weather heading into a new workweek.

Weather tonight: Areas of smoke, otherwise clear

Sunday night will stay mainly clear. Temperatures will stay above normal and only fall to the upper 40s. As the wind shifts, more smoke from western wildfires will start to move in.

Weather tomorrow: Smoky, warm

The workweek will stay dry, with above-normal temperatures climbing to around 80 degrees.

Wildfire smoke will also create a haze throughout the day on Monday.

Looking ahead: Sunny & warm rest of the week.

Sunshine and above-normal temperatures dominate the forecast for the rest of the workweek. Tuesday, Denver will see plenty of sunshine, a light breeze and high temperatures in the lower 80s.

Temperatures will climb to the mid-80s Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the metro, which is nearly 15 degrees above normal for this time of year. Higher elevations will see a few chances for showers midweek as a weak disturbance moves through.
