GREENSBORO, N.C. – One company headquartered in Greensboro has donated $1 million to support the ongoing recovery of western North Carolina communities from Helene. The Carroll Companies alongside The Caroll Family Foundation said in a statement Sunday they have donated several truckloads of supplies to the Asheville area, where the company has apartments and BeeSafe locations.
