Expect highs to reach 70s this week in the Piedmont Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A beautiful and comfortable evening in the Triad with temperatures in the upper 60s by 8 PM. Mostly clear skies remain overnight leaving us with morning temperatures on Monday in the low 60s.

Sunshine continues to dominate on Monday with temperatures reaching the upper 70s by the afternoon. A dry cold front will move through on Monday which will help drop temperatures and humidity for the remainder of the week.

On Tuesday morning, we’ll wake up in the low 50s with highs reaching the low 70s.

Sunny to mostly sunny skies remain through the remainder of the week thanks to high pressure sitting over the eastern United States. We’ll see temperatures in the upper 40s on Wednesday morning with highs in the low 70s.

Thursday morning will start off in the 40s and low 50s with highs in the upper 60s. By Friday morning, temperatures will be in the mid-40s marking the coolest morning of the week. Highs reach the upper 60s Friday afternoon.

A gorgeous weekend for the Triad with temperatures in the 40s and 50s in the morning and highs in the mid-70s.
