A man was charged after he led law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit on Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkinsville Sunday night. Kentucky State Police say they attempted to stop a car on Interstate 24 at Pennyrile Parkway for speeding, and it fled, reaching speeds of over 130mph before exiting onto Pembroke Road.
