When will classes resume at UNC Asheville?
The campus is closed for all regular activities with only mandatory employees reporting to campus until at least Oct. 14.
Classes are suspended until at least Oct. 28.
A date has not been established for the return of residential students to campus.

When will classes resume at Appalachian State University?
Classes at the Appalachian State University Boone and Hickory campuses will not meet until after Oct. 15. The modality and locations will be determined based on conditions and infrastructure, and an update will be shared by Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Residence halls, dining facilities and campus medical facilities remain operational under emergency conditions.
