In Week 6, we saw unprecedented upheaval. Two SEC teams ranked inside the AP top 5 lost to unranked teams on the same day for the first time in league history. Eighteen teams ranked in the AP poll played in Week 6, and 6 of them (33%) lost to unranked teams. It was the worst single day for ranked teams in that regard since 2020, per ESPN, and it harkened back to 2007.
