Other cities saw even higher temperatures, with Oakland hitting 100 degrees, San Jose soaring to 103, and Redwood City registering 102 degrees. Santa Rosa reached a blistering 105 degrees, while Concord and Napa both saw 103 and 102 degrees, respectively. San Rafael topped the list with a sweltering 107 degrees, marking a new record high.
The unseasonable heat comes as a surprise for October, leaving residents to battle the soaring temperatures across the region.
