Evansville man racks up list of charges after traffic stop

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A man was arrested in Evansville Sunday morning after police say he was driving over 100 miles an hour on I-69.

A press release obtained by Eyewitness News says Police saw a motorcycle driving at 106 miles an hour. The release goes on to say the driver continued to drive while police followed but eventually pulled over.

Police say the driver was argumentative and would not follow instructions. Another trooper arrived and the driver was taken in without incident.

The driver was identified as Jacob Nunley.

Police say a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. A THC vape was also located in Nunley’s pocket. Nunley was transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail where he is currently being held without bond.
