ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – It has been quite a windy day today with some wind gusts reaching 30 mph. As we head overnight tonight, winds will become calmer, only up to 5 mph. The low dewpoints and the clear skies will drop our overnight temperatures to the upper 30s. I can’t rule out maybe some rural areas getting down to the mid-30s where some frost is possible, but any frost will be light.
