Multiple arrests made on drug-related charges in North Adams

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. (WWLP) – Multiple people were arrested last Thursday in two unrelated investigations in North Adams.

According to police, the Detectives Unit executed a search warrant on October 3rd at a city residence that was being used to distribute drugs. Crack cocaine, digital scales, packaging material, and U.S. currency related to illegal narcotics sales were seized, resulting in one arrest.

In a separate incident later that day, three men from Pittsfield were arrested during a traffic stop. Heroin and pills believed to contain fentanyl were found during a search of the vehicle.

The suspects are being charged for various offenses, including possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance and possession of a Class A substance.
