The loss marked the second consecutive one for the Seminoles, who are now 7-2-2 on the season, including 2-2-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play. The Hokies improved to 9-3-2 on the season, including 4-1-1 in league play. It marked FSU’s first-ever loss to VT – as FSU now holds a 21-1-2 advantage in the series.
