Knox County mayor, multiple organizations team up to host food drive for Helene victims

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -On Saturday, Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, Mission of Hope and Knoxville Wholesale Furniture teamed up to host a donation drive. Bottled water, canned goods, and other non-perishable items were collected at the drive for victims of flooding caused by Tropical Storm Helene. Knoxville Wholesale Furniture also donated a $10,000 check to the Mission of Hope, saying, “[They] do so much work in our area.”
