Driver arrested on DUI, hit-and-run charges after killing pedestrian in northeast Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A driver is facing DUI and hit-and-run charges after hitting and killing a pedestrian in the northeast valley early Saturday morning. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the collision occurred at Marion Drive and Flippin Street around 5:38 a.m. An initial investigation revealed that a 1996 Ford Ranger was traveling north on Marion, while a pedestrian was in the roadway near the intersection of Marion and Flippin.
