LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Jefferson County is sending a special team to southern Georgia to prepare for the impending impact of Hurricane Milton. The Jefferson County Special Operations and Command said Sunday night that they are mobilizing a team of 17 members, as well as resources from local fire departments.
