A 13-year-old boy died from an accidental shooting Sunday evening in Meraux, according to the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office. Officers responded to a call at 11:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of East St. Bernard Highway, where they found the boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transferred to a hospital nearby, where he later died.
