ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WSET) – On Monday, officials said a resident had died as a result of injuries from a fire at Peters Creek Apartments. Roanoke County Fire and Rescue responded at 9:30 p.m., on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, to the 7200 block of South Barrens Road in the Hollins area of Roanoke County, for the report of a commercial structure fire.
