Suspect arrested in alleged drug lab bust in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield Police officers arrested and charged one person after an alleged drug lab was found inside a home in the Chester area of the county.

On Friday, Oct. 4, Chesterfield County Police Department investigators executed a search warrant at a home on Cresthill Court in the Chester area and found materials to make illegal drugs.

Chesterfield Fire & EMS HAZMAT team and Virginia State Police personnel responded to help Chesterfield Police clear the home. According to police, authorities rendered the home safe and determined the lab was inactive.

Officers identified a variety of controlled substances inside the home. One suspect was arrested and charged with several felonies.
