As extremely powerful Hurricane Milton continues on its path towards Florida’s west coast with potentially devastating consequences, it could deliver blustery weather on the east coast. As of Monday, Oct. 7, Palm Beach County was expected to get sustained tropical storm force winds of 39 to 57 mph according to the National Weather Service.

The U.S.C.G. Captain of the Port Sector Miami set Port Condition X-Ray at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2024 ahead of Hurricane Milton. Hurricane Port Condition X-Ray means sustained gale force winds are expected within forty-eight (48) hours.
