SIERRA COUNTY, California (KOLO) – A Reno man has been arrested and is facing arson charges after a fire near Stampede Reservoir. At around 3:25 a.m. Sunday, the Sierra County Sheriff’s Office received a report from CalFire about a significant fire near Stampede Reservoir. Fire personnel requested two deputies from the sheriff’s office, who were called to the area for reports of a person of interest at the fire site.
