LPD Identifies 24-Year-Old Man Killed in W. Lubbock Crash

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Police Department responded to a crash early Saturday at 2:04 a.m. near the intersection of West Loop 289 and 50th Street. According to a press release, the Major Crash Unit investigated the collision, which tragically resulted in the death of one individual. The investigation revealed that a black passenger car, driven by 24-year-old Noah Jaramillo, was traveling north in the 5000 block of the West Loop 289 access road. Jaramillo’s vehicle continued through the 50th Street intersection before colliding with a pole on the north side of the intersection.
