(WJW) – Someone in Ohio is about to receive a windfall of cash!
According to Ohio Lottery officials, a Powerball ticket purchased ahead of the Monday, Oct. 7 drawing matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball to win $50,000.
Officials have not yet said where in Ohio the winning ticket was sold.

The past couple of weeks lottery players in Ohio have received good fortune from the Powerball. Tickets sold in Ohio won $150,000 in both the Wednesday, Oct. 2 drawing and the Monday, Sept. 23 drawing .
However, no one hit the Powerball JACKPOT in the latest drawing which now climbs to an estimated $336 million. The next drawing is Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Meanwhile, it’s been more than three months since someone in Ohio hit a Powerball jackpot worth $139.3 million, but at last check, no one has stepped forward to claim the prize.
