NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Along with the chill across the region, mostly clear skies remains for now with dry air with mostly light winds as despite the pesky easterly winds to start in Albuquerque, green flags will mostly likely be predominantly up at Balloon Fiesta for not only today, but for at least the next few days. Temperatures are ranging from the 20s to the low 60s across New Mexico, at-or-slightly below normal for some northern areas, while the remainder of the region is still experiencing above-normal temperatures. While stable air remains for much of the Land of Enchantment, the tropical moisture is well to the southeast with very strong Hurricane Milton starting to threaten Florida as its set to make landfall as a major hurricane later this week.
