Where to find FEMA mobile assistance teams today

(WSPA) – Teams from FEMA are back on the ground in counties across the Upstate today.

Disaster Assistance Teams primarily focus on addressing the needs of underrepresented populations that may be hard to reach by traditional channels.

Team members will meet with anyone who comes to one of the dedicated sites and pre-register them for disaster assistance, review applications, provide basic information about application status and other eligible assistance, and collect documents for case files.

Disaster assistance team sites change daily, and FEMA is working to establish more permanent locations.
