AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) – A man was sentenced to 40 years in prison for shooting another man six times, killing him, after an argument at a barbeque at the Cowboy Motel. According to the 47th District Attorney’s Office, on March 13, 2022, Cowboy Motel residents were wrapping up a day-long barbeque where two residents got into an argument but returned to their rooms to cool down.
