Hollywood Road Wastewater Treatment Facility closed to waste haulers for repairs

The City of Amarillo officials announced that the Hollywood Road Wastewater Treatment Facility will be closed to waste haulers beginning today for a repair project. According to city officials, the project involves necessary repairs to the facility’s bar screen system.

The closure is expected to last through the week, starting Monday, Oct. 7. However, officials noted that waste haulers will be notified if the project requires additional time. During this period, the facility will continue operating as normal for domestic and industrial wastewater processing.
