Northern lights might be visible tonight from New Jersey

The northern lights might be visible tonight from New Jersey.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has been forecasting space geomagnetic activity in recent days and Tuesday night might be the last chance to to catch some views of aurora borealis stemming from the geomagnetic storm.

States within or partially included in the view line include Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, the Dakotas, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Maine.

New Jersey is not included within the viewing line, but neither is Pennsylvania and there were reports of sightings around Bucks County on Tuesday overnight, a few miles away from New Jersey’s Hunterdon County. So it might worth checking the sky here as well.
