SCHENECTADY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — State Police announced the arrest of a Latham woman after she allegedly stole over $50,000 between the summer of 2023 and the spring of 2024. Jessica Rowell, 49, was charged with second-degree grand larceny.

Troopers say they received a complaint on September 26 and their investigation revealed that Rowell was hired to manage some short-term rental properties in Schenectady. Rowell allegedly stole more than $50,000 in rental revenue that had belonged to the property owner.
Rowell was arrested on Saturday and placed in Schenectady County Jail to await arraignment.
