BPD seeking help in locating missing teen last seen N.E. Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield police are in need of the community’s help locating a missing at-risk teen girl last seen in north east Bakersfield.

Police say Kai’lan Alderete, 13, was last seen in the 1000 block of Shattuck Avenue around 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 7. She’s considered at-risk due to her age and first time missing.

Alderete is five-foot tall weighs 100 pounds and has brown hair, hazel eyes and wears braces. Police say she was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, red and black Nike shoes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call BPD at 661-327-7111.
