Georgia’s secretary of state comes to Albany to check voting equipment after Hurricane Helene

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger made a stop in Albany on Tuesday to perform a “health check” on voting equipment. Raffensperger said he wants to ensure Georgians that their vote will be counted in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Most of the election offices in the state’s 159 counties did not sustain serious damage and no equipment was affected.
