On Saturday, the M.D. Roberts School of the Arts won the Battle of the Metro volleyball championship over Druid Hills Middle School. M.D. Roberts advanced to the Battle of the Metro by winning the Clayton County tournament. On Oct. 3, M.D. Roberts beat North Clayton for the county championship. M.D. Roberts beat Kendrick in the first round ad Morrow in the semifinals on Oct. 2.
