San Diego Padres right-hander Dylan Cease will start Game 4 of the NLDS, Padres manager Mike Shildt announced, per Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Cease started Game 1 on Oct. 5, allowing five earned runs on six hits across 3 1/3 innings. He’ll be making the Game 4 start on just three days’ rest for the first time in his career.
