SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A Springfield charity is preparing the homeless for winter. On Tuesday, workers at the New Life Veterans Coming Home Center gave clients tents, sleeping bags, sweatpants, and socks. The pastor at the center says these items will help, but he says much more needs to be done for the homeless community.
