Now franchising, it’s possible you’ve never heard of Beef-a-Roo

Late last year, a reviewer of the Overland Park, Kansas location indicated if you want the real experience of a Beef-A-Roo location, you have to go where it started in Illinois. The brand has been around for 57 years.

In case you’ve never heard of Beef-A-Roo, it’s a fast-food restaurant offering roast beef, fries, and shakes among many other options. In Missouri, you’ll find a location on Kearney Street in Springfield.

It was reported by The Takeout two years ago that Beef-A-Roo was going to start franchising. Visit here if you’re interested in more information.

This fast food joint started in 1967 in Illinois. Other locations besides Illinois include Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Texas. A reviewer from Rockford, Illinois included the following in his review:

The food is always fresh. You may have to wait a few minutes but it’s worth the wait especially since they changed their burger patties. There always known for there cheese fries which I get every time. They have a variety of foods from burgers, salads, wraps, and now breakfast.
