The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said right now, they’re working with outdated technology and equipment at the center which is the county’s hub for first responder training and planning emergency responses. They said this money would help them catch up.
“We have to have the right tools, so we’re pretty far behind in some of the systems that we have so we’ve been upgrading that, so that we can look ahead and look into crime prevention,” said Major Holly Anderson, Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
