ROANOKE, Ind. (WPTA) – John Drake has found multiple dead dear on his Roanoke property due to the recent outbreak of EHD among northern Indiana deer. The EHD virus is not contagious to humans but is extremely lethal in deer. The DNR says the virus is not uncommon and happens on a cycle.
