Teenager Grazed by Bullet on CTA Bus in Chatham Amid Dispute, Suspect Not Yet Apprehended

A teenage bystander fell victim to stray gunfire on a CTA bus in Chatham on Monday evening during a dispute between two individuals. According to Chicago Sun-Times, two women engaged in a “verbal altercation” on the bus, which escalated when one of them drew a firearm and started shooting. The incident occurred in the 8600 block of South State Street around 5:22 p.m.
